Town Board Meeting

● Approval of the Minutes of the February 23^rd, Town Board Meeting and the March 3^rd Town Board Work Session

● Public Comment on Agenda Items Only

● Resolution – In opposition to changing the Receiver of Taxes, the Town Clerks and the Highway Superintendents position from elected to appointed.

● Authorization – To allow the Orange Runners Club to conduct a 15 kilometer road race on Town roads on April 19, 2009 commencing at 9am.

● Authorization – To increase water rate for District #3, Tomahawk Water, from $135.50 to $176 per quarter. Effective April 1, 2009. (7/04)

● Authorization – To increase water rate for District #5, Mt. View Water, from $4.50 to $5.00 for the first 10,000 gallons and from $5.00 to $6.50 in excess of 10,000 gallons. Effective April 1, 2009. (10/04)

● Authorization – To purchase one Crown Victoria Police Interceptor at state bid. Total cost $29,233.00 previously appropriated.

● Authorization – To purchase one 2009 one ton heavy duty diesel pick-up truck at state bid, $37,170.15, previously appropriated.

● Surplus – For scrap – from Highway Department: Swenson Spreader – Serial #99465, 1- 1997 Fisher Plow – Serial #53751, 1- Dump body removed from truck #2, and 1- Vac-All Sweeper body removed from Truck # 17.

● Surplus – For bids, 1999 Concord Cross Conveyer, Serial #2244 at a minimum bid of $500.

● Approve – Vendors application for “Mary’s Corner” at Craigville Road and Route 94 by proprietor, Ms. Mary Anderson for the year 2009.

● Approve - Vendors application for Mr. James Trevorah for 30 Clove Road, Salisbury Mills for the year 2009.

● Transfers – Resolution to effect necessary transfer of funds to pay warrants.

● Warrants – Authorization to pay.

● Public Comment – Limited to (3) three minutes.
