2009 Town Board Meeting
● Public Comment on Agenda Items Only
● Public Hearing – On Community
Development Block Grant projects for the year 2010.
● Approval – To name a private road, i.e.:
● Authorization – To hire, Ms. Mary
Ellen Constantino as Assistant to the Assessor on a contract basis at a rate of
$14.17 per hour effective 4/21/09.
● Authorization – To hire, Ms.
Maureen Lanzer, as Clerk to the Assessor on a contract basis at a rate of
$11.00 per hour, effective 4/17 thru 4/29/2009.
● Authorization – To lease two (2)
single axle dump trucks with plows, per recommended specifications by Highway
Superintendent, for five (5) years at
$76,800.34 per year, subject to attorney approval of lease documents.
● Equipment Budget – Police
Dept. check for $3,060.83 from Dept. of Children & Family Services to be
posted to 2009 equipment budget.
● Bid – To go out to bid on the
Cherry Hill Townwide Paving Project.
Bids to be opened on May 7 at 11am in Town Hall.
● Facility Use – By “Friends of
Moffat Library” to utilize the Hall on August 9th from noon to 5pm
for a concert.
● Facility Use - By “Friends of
Moffat Library” to conduct a fundraiser “Cake Sale” on Memorial Day route.
● Facility Use – Washingtonville
Wizard Touchdown Club to use Lasser Park and facilities on 6/20/09 from 7am
until 3pm for a flag touch football tournament.
● Facility Use – By Washingtonville
Middle School – Spirit Team to use Mays Field and pavilion on 5/22/09, rain
date 5/29 at 10am.
● Facility Use – Blooming Grove
Democratic Committee to use the Nutrition Site on 5/9/09 from 9-12 to conduct a
meeting and on 5/13/09 from 7-10pm to conduct a meeting.
● Facility Use – 60 + Club to use
the Nutrition Site on May 22 to conduct a Mothers-Fathers Day luncheon.
● Facility Use – U.S. Census Bureau
to use the Nutrition Site on Tuesdays 3:30-5pm to correlate census operation.
● Vendor Application –
Approval for 2009 to Peddle Ice Cream within Town of Blooming Grove, Daniel
Souro.
● Vendor Application –
Approval for 2009 to Peddle Hot Dogs within Town of Blooming Grove, Kevin
Dugan.
● Surplus – One 1986 FWD Snow Plow
Truck, VIN#1F9AB28R9GCFT1077 as per Highway Superintendent.
● Transfers – Resolution to effect
necessary transfer of funds to pay warrants.
● Warrants – Authorization to pay.
● Public Comment – Limited to (3)
three minutes.
