Town Board Meeting

Monday, March 10, 2008 – 7:30pm

● Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence

●    Approval of the Minutes of the February 25, 2008 Town Board Meeting and the March 4, 2008 Town Board Work Session.

●    Public Comment on Agenda Items Only.

●     Appointments – To Police Officer, Town of Blooming Grove at a salary of $50,532, Michael Graziano, effective immediately.

●     To Buildings and Grounds, part time seasonal, effective immediately, Warren Furrevig.

●     Public Hearing  - On the Town’s local law as it applies to the use of Town properties and facilities.

●     Resolution – Authorizing submission of a Grant Application and signing by the Supervisor of all requests in the amount of $75,000 – for playground equipment for the “pool site” at Mt. Lodge Park to the Orange County Municipal Parks Planning Program.

●    Bid Award – On surplus Bomag BW 130AD serial #101650000900 roller to Sita Construction with a high bid of $5,350.

●    Facility Use – Washingtonville Little League to use Mays Field and Rolling Hills fields for Little League and softball, all fields, Monday to Friday 5 to 11pm, Saturday 8am to 11pm and Sundays 8am to 8pm on the 60’ field.

●    Vendors Application – Approve vendors application for Mary’s Corner, Route 94 and Craigville Road.

●     Approval – Of registration, transportation and lodging for the Town Clerk to attend the N.Y.S. Town Clerks Association Conference on April 27-30, 2008, not to exceed $640.

●     Transfers – Resolution to affect necessary transfer of funds to pay warrants.

●     Warrants – Authorization to pay
