Town Board Meeting

  Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence.

 

●    Approval of the Minutes of the January 14, 2008, Town Board Meeting.

 

●    Public comment on Agenda items only.

 

●    Authorization for the Town Board to attend the 2008 Training School and Annual Meeting of the Association of Towns in New York City on February 17 through the 20th.

 

●    Authorization to sign the 2008 Community Development Block Grant Contract for the Nutrition Site and Country Kids Food Pantry.

 

●    To award Education Credit to the Town Planning and Zoning Boards for their participation in the Moodna Watershed Committee Workshop to be held at Town Hall on January 30 at 7:00pm.

 

●    Bids – Award to Nannini & Callahan Excavating, Inc. with a low bid of $76,660 – for reconstruction of Peddler Hill Road.

 

●    Resolution to adjust the salary of Deputy Receiver of Taxes, Joan Kelly, to $29,706.06 effective immediately.

 

●    Purchase – Authorization to purchase at a State Bid price of $22,937.13 one 2008 Ford Pick-Up, 4x4.

 

●    Authorization to purchase one Oshkosh 4x4 Snowplow truck inclusive of plowing accessories at a State Bid price of $213,170.00.

 

●    RSVP – Volunteer Recognition Luncheon sponsorship at $125.

 

●    Facility Use – Washingtonville PAL to use the basketball courts at Mays Field on Mondays and Wednesdays, July 7th through August 6th, evenings after 6pm.

 

●    The Republican Club of Blooming Grove to use the Nutrition Site on the third Wednesday of each month throughout 2008 from 7:30 until 10pm to conduct meetings.

 

●    The Humane Society to use the Nutrition Site on the second Thursday of each month throughout 2008 to conduct meetings at 7pm.

 

●    Blooming Grove Recreation to use Nutrition Site kitchen/dining area on 3/7-14-28 & 4/4 for cooking classes.

 

●    Fee:  Remuneration as per Planning Board direction to Ms. Diane Colombo, application: $450, escrow: $865.

 

●     Surplus: Highway Department to surplus one Bomag BW 130 AD serial #:101650000900 roller with a minimum bid set at $3,000.

 

●     Tow List Addition: To add C&M Auto Body II, Route 17M to the Town Police tow list.

 

●     Appointments:  As Clerk to the Assessor F/T Ms. Staci Wells – effective immediately - $29,186.98 a year.

                               As Food Service Helper P/T Mr. Jack Devlin. – effective immediately - $10.48 an hour.

 

●     Transfers – Transfer $16,000 from 1910.400A to 1930.400A to make final payment on the OC Landfill Settlement

●     Warrants – Authorization to pay
