Town Board Meeting

Monday, April 9 2007 – 7:30pm

● Pledge of Allegiance and Moment of Silence

●    Approval of the Minutes of the March 26, 2007 Town Board Meeting and the April 3, 2007 Work Session

●    Public comment on Agenda items only

●    Bid Awards: Highway/Police Cold Storage / Evidence Building Bids awarded to DTM Development, LTD for general construction, Tri-County A/C + Ref. Inc. for mechanical and Hudson Valley Electric Const. & Maint., Inc. for electric.

●    Set a public hearing on the expansion of Sewer District #6, Town of Blooming Grove for April 23^rd at 7;30pm.

●    Return of fees to Bull Mine LLC for escrow fee, application and seqra filing in the amount of $15,225.00.

●    Seminar: Authorization for Assessor Alan Cagney and Assessors Clerk, Ms. Tina Galvin to attend seminar on Appraising, July 16^th-20^th at Cornell University at a cost not to exceed $1,250.  The assessors expense is reimbursed by New York State.

●    Facility Use: Karate class to use Moffat Hall on May 6, 2007 from 2-4pm.

●    Assemblywoman Nancy Calhoun to use the Nutrition Site on May 26, 2007 from 9:00am until 5:00pm to conduct a Defensive Driving Course for seniors (50 and over), sponsored by AARP for a fee of $10.00   

●    Humane Society of Blooming Grove sponsoring a road race/walk, fundraiser on October 28, 2007 requests closure of Tuthill Road from Route 94 to Cherry Hill Road to Farmingdale Road to Route 94 with Police cars posted at both points on Route 94 from 9;05am until 11;30am.

●    Vendors: Vendors application for Ms. Jean Otto to operate a push-cart hot dog stand at the corner of Hudson Road and Route 208.

●     Town spring cleanup – Saturday April 14^th, 8:00am Town Hall. 

 ●    Warrants – Authorization to pay
